Ooredoo extends fibre broadband service to new areas

Oman’s second largest telco by subscribers, Ooredoo, has expanded its ‘Super Fibre’ broadband service to Al Ansab and Shabeyat Bousher. Ooredoo customers in these areas can now access maximum download speeds of 1Gbps on the fibre-to-the-home (FTTH) network.

Ooredoo’s Super Fibre broadband is already available in the following areas: Al Mussanah, Al Khuwair, Ruwi, Darsait, Al Hail, Sultan Qaboos University, Al Mawalih, Old Al Amerat, Al Khoud, Al Mabaila, Al Manuma, Al Seeb Jadida, Hayy Al Saruj, Sur Al Hadid, Al Seeb Wadi Al Luwami, Ras Al Hamra, the Tilal Complex, Al Ghubra, Al Athaiba Al Shamaliya and Saa’dah in Salalah. Other locations will be connected by the end of the year.
