Sweden’s Tele2 has launched a new converged offer for business users connected via its Com Hem cable network. The operator says around 200,000 small and medium-sized companies will be able to combine their existing Com Hem fixed broadband connection – available at speeds of up to 1.2Gbps – with fixed and mobile telephony services from Tele2. Tele2 acquired Com Hem in a deal which was completed last November; both firms previously had local investment company Kinnevik as their largest shareholder and Kinnevik now owns 27% of the enlarged entity. Prior to the acquisition, Tele2 customers were restricted to ADSL broadband services.
