Lithuanian Radio and Television Centre (LRTC), which is also known as Telecentras, is reportedly considering the sale of its broadband and TV business MEZON, writes local business news source Verslo Zinios. According to the report, state-owned Telecentras has hired Baltic financial advisory company Porta Finance to consult on the transaction process. MEZON launched WiMAX services in March 2009, but began migrating to a TD-LTE network, now covering around 245 towns and cities, in 2015. Fibre-optic broadband services were added to the firm’s product portfolio in August 2018.
