Singapore fixed, mobile and broadband services provider StarHub has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with China Mobile, China Unicom and China Telecom to jointly develop data links between the city-state and Chongqing, southwestern China. Under the initiative signed at the Smart China Expo 2019 event, StarHub will work with the three ISPs to provide Singapore companies operating in Chongqing with direct data connectivity back to Singapore via L2VPN, a corporate international data service provided over submarine and/or terrestrial transmission infrastructure.
