Bosnian sale hits Telekom Slovenije revenues in H1

24 Jul 2019

Slovenian operator Telekom Slovenije recorded operating revenues of EUR343.1 million (USD383 million) for the first six months of 2019, down 5% on the same period last year, with the fall attributed in part to the sale of Bosnian ISP and MVNO Blicnet, which was completed in January 2019. EBITDA climbed 11% year-on-year to EUR112.3 million, while net profit was up 35% at EUR19.6 million.

The group had 1.02 million mobile users in Slovenia at the end of June, down 2% from a year earlier, while IPKO in Kosovo counted 707,509 cellular subscribers at the same date. The Slovenian division also had 210,364 fixed broadband customers at mid-2019, down from 214,163 twelve months before, while IPKO’s broadband user base fell from 120,999 to 112,388 over the same period.
