Japanese behemoth Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corporation (NTT Corp) has revealed it is restructuring and integrating 28 of its subsidiary companies, including NTT Communications, South Africa-based Dimension Data and NTT Security, into one USD11 billion business to be called NTT Ltd. The consolidation creates an entity employing 40,000 people in more than 70 countries and will be headquartered in London, UK. Established as ‘a global technology services provider’, the new company will focus on providing its clients with access to a more comprehensive range and greater depth of skills across multiple technologies and capabilities. Further it will develop global technology and managed services, an improved ability to deliver more in-depth industry solutions, and ‘world-class’ managed services platforms to meet clients’ needs in each market.
