The switch-on increases network capacity and data transfer speeds, and comprises more than 300 new base stations in the capital Minsk and other regional and district cities across the country, such as Brest, Gomel, Grodno, Bereza, Dobrush, Zhlobin, Lida, Mozyr, Pinsk and Slonim. In total, MTS Belarus says the 2600MHz signal is now live in 36 cities/towns across Belarus.
