TDC completes partial demerger of OpCo, NetCo

TDC Group, under new owner DK Telekommunikation – comprising Macquarie Infrastructure and Real Assets Europe (MIRA) and three Danish pension funds, namely PFA, ATP and PKA – has completed the partial demerger of its two new business units in Denmark. The process involves the legal separation of OpCo and NetCo, both established in June 2018, which upon completion of the demerger will be transferred to TDC’s subsidiaries Nuuday and TDC Netco, with effect from 1 January 2019. New division NetCo focuses on network and digital infrastructure and includes TDC’s network, wholesale, procurement and logistics, Dansk Kabel TV and IT operations. Meanwhile, OpCo focuses on digital services and customer experiences and includes YouSee, TDC Business, Telmore, Fullrate and Blockbuster.
