Ooredoo rolls out 4G, FTTH to new areas of Oman

Ooredoo Oman has revealed that coverage of its 4G ‘Supernet’ network has been expanded to a further 25 new areas, including Wadi Al Namar, Khazinah and Jidya. ‘Ooredoo is all about keeping our customers connected regardless of their location. With ample availability of our network, users are now able to stay connected regardless of where they are,’ commented Ahmed bin Abdullah Al Abri, Chief Technology and Information Officer at Ooredoo, adding: ‘We continuously work hard to enhance the digital lives of the people in Oman by offering a unique experience to surf, chat and enjoy the internet.’

In addition, Ooredoo says it has extended its ‘Super Fibre Home’ internet service to three new areas, namely Sur Al Hadeed-Al Seeb, Amerat Extension (Phase 1) and Telal Al-Qurum Compound, enabling customers to access speeds of up to 1Gbps.
