Melita Italia launches 1Gbps fibre

Melita Italia, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Malta-based telecoms operator Melita, has announced the launch of its new Diamond Fibra service. The internet-only product includes 1Gbps broadband connectivity – delivered via Italy’s Open Fiber fibre-to-the-home (FTTH) network – and Plume’s smart home services bundle, featuring Adaptive Wi-Fi, HomePass and AI Security, with the package priced at EUR39 (USD43.5) per month. Diamond Fibra will initially be available to consumers in eight cities, namely: Milan, Turin, Monza, Florence, Naples, Bari, Palermo and Catania.
