Dhivehi Raajjeyge Gulhun (Dhiraagu), the Maldives’ incumbent telecoms operator, has announced that its fibre-optic broadband network now reaches 58 islands across the Maldives. As a result, the firm’s fibre-to-the-home (FTTH) network covers 75% of the nation’s households. Dhiraagu added that its IPTV service is available on 52 islands, representing household coverage of 72%.
