Telekom increases 250Mbps broadband coverage to 20m homes

Telekom Deutschland (TD), the domestic operating unit of Deutsche Telekom (DT), has enabled maximum fixed broadband speeds of 250Mbps for a further 1.5 million lines nationwide in the last four weeks. The latest upgrade work has increased the total number of 250Mbps-enabled super vectoring homes and businesses to 20 million. In addition, TD has rolled out vectoring technology to a further 105,000 lines to enable maximum speeds of 100Mbps, lifting coverage to 28 million homes.
