Warburg Pincus to pay USD100m for Axxon’s stake in America Net, report says

US private equity firm Warburg Pincus is understood to be finalising the purchase of Axxon’s stake in Sao Paulo-based America Net, which offers fixed line, MVNO and corporate solutions to B2B clients. According to O Globo, the deal is valued at around USD100 million. A second report, courtesy of Valor Economico, claims that Axxon currently holds a 37% stake in America Net.
