The documentation – as unearthed by Light Reading – indicates that AT&T seeks to acquire a total of 29 licences covering locations such as Mississippi, Alabama and Florida.

As per the filing, New Cingular Wireless PCS (an indirect wholly-owned subsidiary of AT&T Inc.) will buy the licences from C Spire’s Cellular South Licenses affiliate. Included in the transaction are 14 2×6MHz 700MHz licences, six 2×5MHz 1900MHz PCS licences and nine 1700MHz AWS licences (2×5MHz/2×10MHz).
