DIGI records 13% revenue growth in full-year 2018

Romania-based DIGI Communications Group has reported revenue growth of 13.3% for the twelve months ended 31 December 2018, with turnover increasing to EUR1.0 billion (USD1.2 billion) from EUR916.6 million one year earlier. DIGI’s operating profit for the same period did fall, however, from EUR115.4 million in 2017 to EUR102.0 million twelve months on, a decrease of 11.6%. Group EBITDA saw strong growth of 12.9% to EUR324.6 million, up from EUR287.5 million in full-year 2017.

Operationally, DIGI recorded a group-wide increase in its total number of mobile, fixed broadband and fixed telephony subscribers in 2018, with 14.926 million customers on its books at year-end, compared with 13.273 million in 2017.
