Ooredoo Palestine inks software upgrade, support deal with Optiva

Canada-based software provider Optiva Inc. has announced that Palestinian mobile network operator Ooredoo Palestine, formerly Wataniya Mobile Palestine, has contracted it for a software upgrade and multi-year support agreement. Commenting on the deal, Ooredoo Palestine CEO Dr Durgham Maraee was cited as saying: ‘By partnering with Optiva we have been able to utilise their real-time monetisation capabilities and offer superior, flexible and innovative products, services and tariffs to our customers.’ Danielle Royston, CEO at Optiva, added: ‘With our Business Value consulting team and our product offering, Ooredoo Palestine is able to quickly react to the changing market and drive new growth for their business.’
