Telekom enables 250Mbps speeds for 2m homes

Telekom Deutschland (TD), the domestic operating unit of Deutsche Telekom (DT), has enabled maximum fixed broadband speeds of 250Mbps for an additional two million households over the last four weeks. The latest upgrade work has increased the total number of 250Mbps-capable homes to more than 16 million across Germany. In addition, TD has rolled out vectoring technology to a further 300,000 lines to enable maximum speeds of 100Mbps.
