Ooredoo continues fibre expansion across Oman

Oman’s second largest telco by subscribers, Ooredoo, has further expanded its ‘Super Fibre’ network to additional areas of Old Al Amerat, Al Amerat, Al Mahaj, Al Khoudh, Al Mabela South and Saa’dah in Salalah. Ooredoo customers in these areas can now access maximum download speeds of 1Gbps on the fibre-to-the-home (FTTH) network.

The areas already covered by the firm’s FTTH network include Al Mussanah, Al Khuwair, Ruwi, Darsait, Al Hail, Al Mawalih, Al Khoud, Al Mabaila, Al Manuma, Al Seeb Jadida, Hayy Al Saruj, Sur Al Hadid, Al Seeb Wadi Al Luwami, Ras Al Hamra, the Tilal Complex, Al Ghubra and Al Athaiba Al Shamaliya.
