Vodafone Idea has spun off its fibre infrastructure business to its wholly owned subsidiary Vodafone Towers. The Economic Times reports that the transfer of the assets is in preparation for the potential sale of the 156,000km inter and intra-city fibre network. Vodafone Idea was formed in August this year through the combination of Vodafone India with Idea Cellular.
