Airtel Kenya has revealed plans to expand the coverage of its LTE network to a further three towns over the next four months. Business Daily quotes the cellco’s Managing Director Prasanta Das Sarma as saying that Kisumu, Eldoret and Nakuru will be next in line for 4G coverage, following network launches in Nairobi and Mombasa in May. ‘All the top cities will be covered and the process has started so the next three to four months they should all be covered. We will not stop there but continue to improve services for our customers,’ he said, adding: ‘Similarly we will continue to improve our 2G and 3G networks so network expansion is a major plan and it is an ongoing venture. We want to cover more customers and we want to improve our services.’
