life:) 4G LTE now available in all regional centres

Mobile operator Belarusian Telecommunications Network (BeST life:)), working in partnership with the country’s national infrastructure provider Belarusian Cloud Technologies (beCloud), says that it is now able to offer 4G LTE services in all regional cities of the country, Yandex newsfeed reports. The latest switch-on took place in the city of Chechersk, Gomel region, the pair confirmed, with life:) noting that ‘more than 45%’ of its customers benefit from the advantages of 4G, ‘pumping an average of about 4.5GB per month’. Between January and September 2018 beCloud has boosted the total number of 4G-enabled base stations by 78% to around 1,505, serving all regional cities of Belarus. The infrastructure provider’s dual-band 1800MHz/2600MHz network incorporates four-component carrier aggregation (4CC) to deliver average data transfer rates of at least 30Mbps.
