Bell Canada has begun to phase out the ‘Bell MTS’ brand for mobile services in Manitoba province, reports CBC News, which quotes company spokesperson Andrew Parkinson as saying that when a Bell MTS wireless customer upgrades their device, they are now moved over to a Bell Mobility plan. The change currently only affects wireless services, with no changes to other Bell MTS branded services including fixed broadband internet, home phone or TV. Parkinson confirmed that customers will continue to be able to bundle their Bell MTS residential services with Bell Mobility wireless packages.
Bell completed its takeover of Manitoba Telecom Services (MTS) in March 2017, creating the Bell MTS division, and pledged to maintain existing MTS wireless price plans for at least twelve months.
