DNA upgrades guidance for the current fiscal year

12 Oct 2018

Finnish multi-service operator (MSO) DNA Finland has raised its forecasts for its current financial year ending 31 December 2018, on the basis that its ‘operations have developed favourably’ this year. Specifically, the operator noted that net sale and profitability had been affected by the positive development of its mobile subscriber base so far in 2018, while it also pointed to a growing share of customers being signed up to more expensive 4G subscriptions as another factor. Further, the MSO said that low churn and better-than-expected net growth in customer numbers, particularly in Q3 2018, had had a positive impact on the full-year outlook.

As such, DNA has said it now expects net sales and comparable operating results to ‘improve somewhat’ in 2018 when compared to the previous year, with the company’s financial position and liquidity ‘expected to remain at a healthy level’. By comparison, it had previously forecast that net sales and its comparable operating result would be broadly flat.
