Poland’s Netia to merge with subsidiary Telefonia Dialog

Polish telco Netia says it is to merge with its wholly owned subsidiary Telefonia Dialog, which it acquired in 2011. Netia says the merger will ‘ensure simplification of the organisational structure of the Netia Capital Group, eliminate unnecessary processes, and lead to a reduction of costs related to the company’s operations’. Netia claimed 617,000 broadband internet customers at the end of June 2018, down from 667,000 a year earlier.
