TRA publishes new QoS regulation

Bahrain’s Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA) has published an updated Quality of Service (QoS) regulation applicable to all operators in the Kingdom. The TRA said that the regulation forms part of its strategic objectives which aim to empower customers and ensure that they receive the best possible services, with the updated regulation building on the existing 2008 QoS framework.

Acting General Director at the TRA, Sh. Nasser bin Mohamed Al-Khalifa said: ‘The review of the regulation ensured that the main quality aspects of the services delivered by telecommunications companies are in line with latest technological capabilities, best practices and forward-looking to enable an effective and flexible regulatory framework to consumers.’ The updated QoS regulation can be found on the TRA’s website.
