Avantel, which launched LTE services in Colombia in August 2014 using the 1700MHz band, has signed a ten-year fixed-term master lease agreement (MLA) with Tower One to utilise its mobile infrastructure. Founded in 2015, Tower One currently owns 42 cell towers in Argentina and Colombia. Previously, in October 2017 the company signed a collocation agreement with Claro Colombia, allowing it to access its local tower portfolio.
