Sales down 2% at Telekom Slovenije

Telekom Slovenije Group has reported revenues of EUR363.0 million (USD425.1 million) for the first six months of 2018, down 2% from the year-earlier period. The group, which has telephony and internet operations in Slovenia and across the western Balkans, saw EBITDA drop 6% to EUR100.9 million, while net profit declined from EUR24.3 million in H1 2017 to EUR14.5 million in January-June this year.

The number of mobile customers in Slovenia fell 3% in the first six months of 2018 to 1.09 million, while fixed broadband lines were stable at around 215,000. Mobile subscriptions in Kosovo dropped 1% in the first half to just over 675,000.
