Poland’s Vectra takes control of SGT

Polish cableco Vectra has acquired a 66.5% stake in local TV services provider SGT for around PLN48 million (USD13 million). Vectra bought 1.37 million shares from 3S Group and 3S management, Telko.in reports, with the transaction valuing SGT at approximately PLN73 million. SGT provides wholesale TV services for Polish ISPs and cable operators. It has 55,000 users active on around 270 partner networks. It reported revenues of PLN24.5 million in 2017, up 31% year-on-year, with net profit almost doubling to PLN2.86 million.
