The Ugandan government has rejected all seven offers it has so far received in its efforts to find an investor for struggling state-owned telco Uganda Telecom Ltd (UTL). PML Daily writes that the Financial Intelligence Authority (FIA), which was tasked by President Museveni to assess the potential investors, has disqualified bids from Bayliss Consortium, Afrinet Kenya, Mauritius Telecom, Teleology Holding, Neubacher Montage, Hamilton Telecom and Telecel Global.
