DT mulling an exit from Macedonian market

Deutsche Telekom (DT) is reportedly considering exiting the Macedonian market due to disagreements with the government, local news source Lider.com.mk reports, citing people familiar with the matter. TeleGeography notes that Deutsche Telekom-backed Magyar Telekom owns 56.67% of Makedonski Telekom (via 100%-owned Stonebridge AD Skopje), while the Macedonian government holds 34.81%, with 10.00% registered as Treasury Shares, 1.64% held by the International Finance Corporation (IFC) and 2.54% owned by other minority shareholders.
