Azercell continues LTE expansion in two more districts

Azercell, Azerbaijan’s leading mobile network operator (MNO) by subscribers, has further expanded its 4G reach by adding LTE connectivity in the districts of Masalli and Jalilabad, writes Azer News. Six LTE base stations have been installed in Masalli and five in Jalilabad as part of the expansion project.

Azercell became the country’s first mobile operator to launch 4G LTE services in June 2012 and today its 2G and 3G services cover 99.8% of the population.
