China Tower, the infrastructure firm owned by the Chinese state and the nation’s trio of cellcos to manage the country’s wireless towers, has filed to list its shares in on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange (HKEX) in an initial public offering (IPO), Reuters reports. According to sources with knowledge of the matter, the IPO could raise around USD10 billion, although the towerco did not give a fund-raising target. China Tower operated a total of 1.9 million tower sites at end-2017, with 2.7 million tenants.
