US telecoms giant Verizon Communications has reported total operating revenues of USD31.8 billion for the three months ended 31 March 2018, up 6.6% on an annualised basis. Meanwhile, first quarter operating income was reported at USD7.3 billion, up from USD7.0 billion in 1Q17. Finally, net income for 1Q18 reached USD4.7 billion – an improvement on the USD3.6 billion generated in the year-ago period.
