Liege next in line for Proximus FTTH rollout

18 Apr 2018

Proximus, Belgium’s leading ISP in terms of subscribers, has announced that Liege is the latest city to benefit from a fibre-to-the-home (FTTH) rollout. As per a company announcement, the districts of Charles Magnette, 20 Aout, Clarisse and St Paul will be the first to receive fibre-optic connectivity. The telco notes that it is in the process of replacing its entire copper line with fibre. Previously, in March this year, Proximus also revealed plans to deploy FTTH in Ghent, starting with the Gent-Sint-Pieters district.
