17 Apr 2018

Australia-based NetComm Wireless has signed a Product Purchase Agreement with Bell Canada for the supply of Intelligent Fixed Wireless Access technology devices for delivering high speed broadband services to rural communities over 4G LTE networks, starting in Ontario and Quebec. NetComm anticipates that initial deliveries should begin in its Financial Year 2019 (July 2018 onwards), subject to Canadian regulatory approvals. NetComm CEO Ken Sheridan commented: ‘This contract win with Bell Canada follows a successful four-month in-field trial and builds on our previous fixed-wireless contract wins with Ericsson/nbn in Australia and AT&T in the USA.’
