Vodafone Germany has rolled out maximum fixed broadband speeds of 500Mbps to an additional 300,000 households, increasing the total number of households within the high-speed footprint to more than 5.1 million. The latest upgrade work covered both cities and rural communities, including Bayreuth (30,140 homes), Munich (24,700), Jever (4,100) and Damme (3,500). By the start of this month, over 40% of the 12.7 million households across Vodafone’s HFC network were able to access speeds of up to 500Mbps.
