Combined 1&1 Drillisch posts 2017 revenue of EUR2.8bn

1&1 Drillisch, which was formed in September last year through the merger of mobile service provider Drillisch with United Internet’s fixed and wireless unit 1&1 Telecommunication, has reported revenue of EUR2.81 billion (USD3.5 billion) for 2017, an increase of 15.7% from EUR2.43 billion the previous year. Adjusted EBITDA grew by 37.2% year-on-year to EUR387.9 million, while adjusted EBIT increased 23.4% from EUR379.3 million in 2016 to EUR468.1 million the following year. The combined entity reported 12.64 million customer contracts at 31 December 2017, of which 8.30 million were mobile internet subscribers (with the takeover of Drillisch contributing 3.35 million) and 4.34 million DSL/VDSL customers.
