16 Mar 2018

The Polish mobile infrastructure sharing vehicle NetWorkS!, which is a joint venture of Orange Polska and T-Mobile Poland, is set to refarm additional spectrum for 4G LTE. The venture plans to increase its dedicated LTE spectrum allocation to 2×45MHz, from 2×40MHz currently, Telko.in reports. The two operators also plan to introduce quad-band carrier aggregation (4C) to improve the speeds on their respective LTE-A networks. 2100MHz frequencies will be utilised for LTE-A alongside the existing 800MHz, 1800MHz and 2600MHz bands.
