A1 Slovenia completes hybrid LTE/DSL project with ZTE

13 Mar 2018

ZTE has announced the completion of a project with A1 Slovenia (formerly Si.mobil) to deploy a Hybrid Access (HA) solution which allows the telco to implement LTE and DSL bonding, thereby improving bandwidth and reliability for home broadband users. The Chinese vendor, which has been working on the project since December 2017, says it has provided ZXR10 M6000-S routers as HA gateways, as well as new hybrid CPEs. Telekom Austria subsidiary A1 is Slovenia’s second largest cellco by subscribers and is also one of the country’s main alternative fixed line service providers.
