Telecom Italia Group has reported consolidated revenues of EUR19.8 billion (USD24.5 billion) for the twelve months ended 31 December 2017, up from EUR19.0 billion in 2016. Of the top-line figure, EUR15.4 billion is attributed to the company’s domestic businesses, while TIM Participacoes (TIM Brasil) generated sales of around EUR4.5 billion. EBITDA for FY17 dipped from EUR8.0 billion to EUR7.8 billion, while the group’s net profit slumped from EUR2.0 billion to EUR1.3 billion.
In operational terms, the group’s domestic unit reported a total of 30.755 million mobile lines at end-December 2017, alongside 11.044 million wireline accesses and 7.641 million retail broadband customers. Including wholesale broadband customers, the total was 10.154 million.
