Services Industriels de Lausanne (SiL), the parent company of Lausanne-based Citycable, has completed the acquisition of a 10% stake in Netplus.ch, the ISP which represents a number of local operators in French-speaking Switzerland. Netplus.ch, which claims to be ‘French-speaking Switzerland’s leading provider of multimedia content’ first announced the deal in June 2017, but the transaction has only just completed.

Founded in 2004, netplus.ch claims to serve 275,000 pay-TV customers, 125,000 broadband subscribers and 60,000 wireline users. Its core footprint covers the regions and communities of the cantons of Vaud, Valais and Fribourg.

Citycable, which offers its services via a combination of cable and fibre-optic technology, claims to deliver services to 60,000 pay-TV customers, 26,000 broadband users and 13,000 landline subscribers.
