South Sudan raises tax on telecoms services

The government of South Sudan has implemented an increase in excise duty on telecoms services from 10% to 15%. APA News cites Ladu Wani, Director General of the National Communication Authority (NCA), as saying that the change came into force on 1 February, following the enactment of the Financial Act of 2017/2018.
