Cyta Hellas still studying two buyout offers

4 Jan 2018

Greek telco Cyta Hellas has revealed that it is still assessing takeover bids from rival firms Vodafone and Wind Hellas, with the help of external consultants. Cyta Hellas was put up for sale by its Cypriot parent company Cyta last year, with only Vodafone and Wind submitting binding financial offers by the mid-December deadline. A rumoured third bid from Hong Kong group PCCW failed to materialise.
