Telekom merges all mobile entities into Telekom Romania Mobile Communications

Telekom Romania merged all its mobile entities into Telekom Romania Mobile Communications SA on 1 December 2017, writes Business Review. Telemobil SA (the former ‘Zapp’ 3G operations acquired in 2009 and already integrated into Telekom), handset retailer Germanos Telecom Romania SA and Sunlight Romania Filiala Bucuresti SRL (a subsidiary of Germanos Telecom) were all merged into the one legal entity. Miroslav Majoros, CEO of Telekom Romania said: ‘The merger of our mobile operations is an important step in the transformation programme initiated this year, in line with our strategy to consolidate our position on the local telecom market.’
