Azercell continues LTE expansion to three new cities

Azercell, Azerbaijan’s largest mobile network operator (MNO) by subscribers, has announced it has expanded its 4G LTE network to Barda, Shamkir and Lankaran. The three locations add to Azercell’s existing 4G footprint in capital city Baku, the Absheron Peninsula and Ganja. The company also revealed that it plans to install 127 LTE base stations by the end of the year, with 33 of these to be installed in Baku, Absheron and Sumqayit, with 94 to be installed in other regions.
