Forthnet attracts four potential buyers

Four firms are reported to be interested in acquiring a 32.7% stake in the Greek ISP Forthnet. These include rival telcos and existing Forthnet shareholders Vodafone and Wind Hellas, as well as two unnamed private equity firms, Kathimerini reports. As reported by CommsUpdate earlier this month, four Greek banks are seeking a strategic investor to take a stake in the ISP and pay-TV provider, which offers business services under its own brand and is active in the residential market as ‘Nova’. The four lenders became Forthnet’s main shareholders after converting bonds to shares.
