T-Mobile US to acquire 700MHz spectrum from Silver Star Telephone

T-Mobile US has requested permission from the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) to acquire 700MHz Lower Band spectrum from regional operator Silver Star Telephone Company, Fierce Wireless reports. The frequencies cover parts of Wyoming and Idaho, including the Grand Teton National Park. As per a regulatory filing, Silver Star is currently using the spectrum to provide fixed-wireless services; the concessions are due to expire in June 2019.
