11 Oct 2017

Chinese equipment vendor Huawei says it has installed its first NetEngine 9000 core router solution for ISP and pay-TV provider Hong Kong Broadband Network (HKBN). The new router has approximately six times the capacity of HKBN’s previous network equipment, Huawei says. The solution has been implemented to help support the telco’s residential customer base. The firm has around 900,000 residential subscribers, according to TeleGeography’s GlobalComms Database.
