M-net launches 1Gbps FTTH service

German regional telecoms operator M-net has launched maximum download speeds of 1Gbps over its fibre-optic network. The Munich-based company is offering the high-speed connections for residential customers within its fibre-to-the-home (FTTH) footprint in Munich, Augsburg and Erlangen. Customers are able to sign up to the new ‘Surf & Fon-Flat 1000’ package, which costs EUR149 (USD175) per month and includes a fixed telephony service.
