Ooredoo adds 1,445 Muscat tenancies to fibre footprint

Oman’s second largest fixed broadband operator by subscribers, Ooredoo, has extended its ultra-high speed fibre-optic footprint to an additional 1,445 tenancies in the capital, Muscat. The operator’s ongoing network rollout is aimed at delivering superfast services of up to 1Gbps, with unlimited internet access and free installation. The latest service expansion has made the service accessible to users located in Ruwi, Darsait, Mabela, Al Hail, Al Mawalih, Al Khoud and many other areas. New customers can sign up to a Superfast Fibre service from OMR28 (USD73) a month, which also includes unlimited Ooredoo to Ooredoo fixed call minutes.
